The 17-year-old was the victim of a horrific bullying incident. A group of girls threw boiling water on her, leaving her badly burned and covered in scars and discoloration.
She thought the physical scars would be with her forever — until she met Basma Hameed.
Basma Hameed runs a tattoo shop, of sorts — but her tattoo artistry doesn’t look like this:
it looks like this:
Basma is a paramedical tattoo specialist. Instead of tattooing vibrant, colorful designs, she uses special pigments that match the skin in order to conceal scars.
With Basma’s help, patients like Samira can see a dramatic decrease in their scar visibility and discoloration after a few treatments. She even offers free procedures for patients who are unable to afford treatment. That’s because Basma knows firsthand just how life-changing her work can be for those coping with painful scars left behind.
I think we should all celebrate by taking a moment to appreciate Robert Pattinson’s attitude and I’m laughing so much right now.
JUST ALL THAT HE IS.
I mean
LOOK
Robert Pattinson’s ‘Twilight’ commentary.
I just
I’m going to miss this

As someone that has grown up surrounded by beaches and done surf life saving, I know how the sea works. Lots of people dont. Every summer multiple tourists die here because they don’t respect the sea, if you’re going to the coast, here’s a thing I saw on Facebook.
wow.
reblogging for all of us that grew up in land locked states, then visit the ocean and are used to just plunging into a lake.
I did some research and here is what’s actually going on.
If you remember the bakery that refused to make a gay wedding cake, it’s like that. The bill is allowing religious adoption agencies to deny any couple for any religious reason (Gay couple, non-christian, divorced, etc).
State funded adoption agencies are still open to Gay couples adopting. Some private agencies are allowed to deny based on “religious freedom” but all public agencies still abide to the anti discrimination laws we know and love.
You can still adopt from the state. It’s bad for now but don’t lose hope. It’s still a bill and needs to pass through the House and Senate before it becomes a law.
type one: fan fiction is a love letter to canon, only small changes unless it’s an au!!
type two: the source material can bite me, I don’t give a fuck
type three: horny
sorry, I forgot one
type four: canon COULD be so good if it wasn’t so straight/white/horny, so I fixed it while holding unblinking eye contact with the creator and mouthing ‘die’
